A new facility opens on the CZU campus for the children of university employees.
The year 2026 is starting happily for preschool children whose parents work at the Czech University of Life Sciences. On Wednesday, January 7, the gates of the newly built building for university children´s groups opened on the campus.
The CZU winery has one gold and three silver awards from the 2026 Wine Salon.
Another champion from the CZU Winery in Chloumek near Mělník has made it to the top 100 of the highest-quality wines in the Czech Republic this year. At the nationwide Wine Salon, the local Riesling 2023, batch number 6/23, won a gold medal. It has thus been ranked among the best wines from Bohemia and Moravia, which will be on display at the tasting exhibition in the cellars of the Valtice Chateau throughout the year.

Over the past eight years, he has shaped the direction of CZU in Prague from his position as rector, bringing it to its current state. The university ranks among the top educational institutions in the national and global context.
CZU student Jan Zabystřan became the first Czech skier to win a World Cup race
Excellent alpine skier Jan Zabystřan, a student at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, achieved a historic success. In Val Gardena, Italy, he became the first Czech in history to win a men's World Cup race. In the super-G slalom, he defeated the best skier of the moment, Swiss Marc Odermatt.
