Project description: The project aims to develop a business plan for the establishment of a Traditional Andaliman Pepper Processing Centre in the Lake Toba area of Indonesia. Andaliman pepper is a very important local product that is found only in wild form around Lake Toba and is still processed using traditional methods. The processing centre established on the basis of the business plan will be aimed at promoting this specific commodity. At the processing centre, Andaliman will be bought from local suppliers, fully processed and sold on local markets. The main benefits of the centre are the development of the private sector in the rural areas of Tobasa regency and the creation of new jobs.
